Tombstone back country winter camping…

Me and my buddy Bill went out to the Kananaskis area for a couple of nights. We camped out at the Tombstone campsite which was accessible from the Elbow Lake day use area. Although we have winter camped several times, this was our first time spending more than one night out and it was also our first time in the back country! The weather was relatively decent, the continuous winds brought a chinook in that kept the temperatures pretty nice…for the mountains in late November.
This is part 1 of the trip.
